Seymour Duncan > This beautiful Apollo guitar was hand crafted in June 2006 by John Kingma in Grimsby Ontario. The neck is an APH-1 alnico II pro™ Humbukcer and the bridge has a STK-T3b vintage stackĀ®. The body of the guitar is made of Ancient Kauri. Ancient Kauri is wood that has been preserved underground in New Zealand since about the time of the last ice-age. The trees found underground have been carbon dated to be between 30,000 and 50,000 years old, making this the oldest known workable wood in existence.

The website for Apollo Guitars is www.apolloguitars.ca. John makes beautiful guitars so please check it out. John was excellent to work with and it was a pleasure to have him make this custom guitar for me. This particular guitar is profiled at http://www.apolloguitars.ca/K060613.html.

From country to classic rock this Tele rocks! It is a guitar 30, 000 years in the making.

Seymour Duncan > hi, this is my handbuild Firebird.

I ' ve build the guitar myself in may 2005 in the Mark Bailey guitar course in Scotland. It was my first attempt in guitarbuilding, and it took 5 days (and some nights !) of hard work to complete it. Thanks to Mark for all his help and craftmanship, I'm proud of my (Fender meets Gibson-) Firebird !

Specs: mahagony body with flamed maple top, danish oil finish. Bolt-on maple neck with 21-fret ebony fretboard. P90 pick-up (neck) and seymour duncan '59 at the bridge position.

It plays and sounds like a dream, fat and chunky. and for the looks: just look at that beauty !!

Brand new Fender 2006 60th Anniversary Fender P-Bass with
Seymour Duncan Quarterpounders and BaddassII bridge
sounds a lot like a old Rickenbacker 4001 on Steroids!
Most powerful bass I've ever had.
Seymour Duncan > Clifford Schuchart Chico CA.
My BABY!! 99' custom Fender Jazz Bass, with
Basselines SJB-3 bridge, and STK-J1 neck
& Rotosounds makes for the perfect "Boris the Spider" sound.

PS I also have a custom single pickup/Floyd Rose Fender Strat
guitar with a single SH-10 full shred™ pickup not pictured. And a Seymour Duncan Research KTG-1 Tube King Tone Generator preamp!
(got it back in 93 I think) From what I hear they are very rare, the thing is off the hook for lead!

Just would like to let you know, I found out about Seymour Duncan pickups when playing with my guitarist that you know well Robbin Crosby, back in 79' I played in three bands with him before he was in Ratt, the "King Crosby" was my best friend
and buddy for years in San Diego and LA, and he first got Seymour Duncans from you guys when I helped him built A Flying V (Big Red) with a set of PAF's you made for him I believe in his last interview he speaks highly of you guys. I have a MSN website dedicated to Robbin Crosby after he passed away with the bands I was in with him. Check it out http://groups.msn.com/EarlyRobbinCrosby
Warren Di Martini was also a good friend that hung out with us in those days just a kid at that time, I also played with Tommy Asakawa of Warrior, and friends with Jake E. Lee (RATT and Ozzy) who was my neighbor, My brother was in Autograph, also used Duncans, just one big happy rock family in those days.
All Seymour Duncan fans.

Seymour Duncan > 1)Revelation from Hohner Guitar Research, made in the early 90s, designed by
Trevor Wilkinson (yes, THAT Trevor Wilkinson ;o))

2)Duckbuckers in Neck/Mid-Position, Lil'59 in Bridge

3)Probably one of the best guitars I've ever played, and I played a lot.
Very light, low action....and a perfect home for those great Duncans :o)) I
just love it...

Seymour Duncan > This is my 1994 Mexican-made Fender Strat with a Duncan '59 PAF at
the neck, Duncan Trembucker PAF at the bridge, and a Gibson P-90 in
the middle.

This guitar has standard 5-way switching with no coil-tapping.
There's a toggle to throw the bridge humbucker out of phase with the
P-90 for a nasally, Funkadelic sound. Without coil-tapping, the 2 and
4 positions sound HUGE.
